Create and export your birthday card in HoorayTime, then use your phone’s Share menu to choose WhatsApp and the recipient. If WhatsApp does not appear, save the finished image to Photos and attach it from inside the WhatsApp conversation. Review the recipient and message before sending.
Create a card that reads well in a chat
Pick a design with a clear focal point. A photo portrait works when the person is the main subject; an illustrated card is useful when the words matter most. Avoid putting a long letter directly on the image, because the recipient will first see a small preview.
A name and one or two thoughtful lines are usually enough on the card. Put the rest of your message in the chat. For example: “Happy birthday, Leila. I still think about that rainy weekend and the ridiculous playlist. Here’s to another adventure together.”
Export and send from HoorayTime
- Finish your portrait or card and check the spelling, age, and greeting.
- Use HoorayTime’s export flow to create the finished PNG. Generation requires HoorayTime Pro and an available spark; editing and exporting existing creations remain available.
- Open the native Share menu and select WhatsApp, when it is available on your phone.
- Choose the correct person or group. Add the longer birthday note as a message.
- Check the image preview and recipient, then send it in WhatsApp.
The recipient receives an image. They do not need HoorayTime to view a PNG sent in their chat. HoorayTime creates the card; the final delivery happens in your messaging app.
If WhatsApp is missing from the Share menu
Save the finished creation to Photos instead. Open WhatsApp yourself, enter the intended conversation, and use its photo attachment control to select the saved image. The exact labels and arrangement depend on your phone and app version.
If the image has not appeared in Photos, return to HoorayTime and check whether saving completed and whether photo-save permission was granted. Keep the exported file rather than taking a screenshot of the draft preview.
Keep the greeting personal and the image clear
Messaging services may resize images. If the lettering looks small, shorten the wording and make it larger in HoorayTime, then export again. View the received image at full size before deciding whether the design needs a change.
A direct message is often better than a large group for a photo-based card with someone’s age. Ask before posting a portrait publicly if the recipient has not agreed. If you are sending across time zones, choose an appropriate time yourself; you can set a reminder in HoorayTime’s calendar, but the app does not automatically send birthday greetings.
Save a copy in your own library so you can find the creation again without searching the entire conversation.
