# How to export a birthday card without a watermark in HoorayTime

The draft preview is for editing. The exported file is for sending. Here is how to save the finished version and understand what generation includes.

Use HoorayTime’s export flow to save a finished 1200 × 1600 PNG without the draft watermark. Do not screenshot the editor. Creating new artwork requires HoorayTime Pro and an available spark; editing and exporting creations you have already generated remain available.

## Why the draft has a watermark

The draft preview helps distinguish the editing view from the finished image. Taking a screenshot of that screen captures whatever the screen shows, including draft text and interface elements. It also limits the file to the screenshot’s dimensions.

An export captures the composed creation rather than the app interface. In HoorayTime, the finished PNG contains the artwork and your chosen text layers at 1200 × 1600 pixels. Open that file before sending it to check that it is the version you intended to share.

## Export the finished birthday creation

1. Open a successfully generated portrait or card.

2. Finish editing the wording, typography, and placement. Check names, ages, and line breaks.

3. Open the export screen and wait for the artwork to load.

4. Export the finished image, then choose Save to Photos or use the native Share menu.

5. Allow photo-saving access if your phone asks for it, and verify the image was saved.

If the artwork has not loaded, the app cannot export it correctly. Reconnect and try opening the existing creation again rather than immediately generating a replacement.

## What is paid, and what can be reused?

HoorayTime Pro is required before creating new portrait or card artwork. An accepted generation uses a spark from your available allowance. Check the in-app subscription screen for current prices, renewal terms, and the plan’s generation allowance.

Editing and exporting an already generated creation remain available. You can correct wording or save it again without treating every export as a new artwork generation. Choosing to generate different artwork is a separate action and uses the generation allowance.

## Choose the right file for the destination

A PNG works well for sending a birthday image in a chat or keeping it in a photo library. A messaging or social app may resize the file, so confirm the text remains readable after sharing.

For a printed keepsake, 1200 × 1600 pixels corresponds to 4 × 5⅓ inches at 300 pixels per inch. Larger prints use fewer pixels per inch and may look softer. Ask your print service about its required dimensions and cropping; HoorayTime does not print or mail physical cards.

Keep the original exported PNG somewhere you can find it. Repeated screenshots or saving compressed copies from a chat can make a clean design look less sharp over time.
